This site belongs to Big Light Studio LLC, a Vermont company. It is a simple informational site: no accounts, no forms, no data stored about you beyond the analytics described below. Questions about anything on this page go to privacy@biglight.studio.
What gets collected
Analytics, with your consent. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics records anonymized page-view data (pages visited, approximate region, device type — with IP anonymization enabled). If a Cloudflare Web Analytics token is configured, its cookieless beacon also reports aggregate page views. If you decline, neither loads.
Cookieless hosting analytics. The site runs on Vercel, whose Web Analytics counts visits in aggregate without cookies or cross-site identifiers. It cannot identify you and runs regardless of your cookie choice.
Nothing else. Emailing or booking a call happens through your own email client or the external scheduling service linked from this site, each governed by its own privacy policy.
Cookies and local storage
- _ga, _ga_* — Google Analytics visitor identifiers. Set only if you accept analytics; expire after up to two years (some browsers cap this sooner).
- biglight-cookie-consent — local storage entry remembering your cookie choice for 12 months, after which the site asks again.
- biglight-theme — local storage entry remembering your light/dark preference. Strictly functional, never sent anywhere.
You can change your mind at any time: . Declining takes effect immediately — analytics stop and their cookies are removed, no reload required.
Who processes the data
Vercel Inc. (hosting and cookieless analytics), Google LLC (Google Analytics, only with consent), and Cloudflare Inc. (cookieless analytics, only with consent and when enabled). No data is sold or shared for advertising.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including the EU/EEA, UK, and several US states), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. Given how little this site collects, the fastest path is simply to email privacy@biglight.studio — requests are answered within 30 days. EU/EEA residents also have the right to lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the effective date above changes with it. The current version is always at this URL.
